The most notable building is the Cathedral of St Julian. The original Basilica was started in the 4th century but then was raided by Normans and the Cathedral built in its place starting in the 1100s. A lot of it was destroyed in WW11 bombings and restored following the end of the war. The majority of the church and various artifacts, monuments and statues date from the 13th, 14th and 15th centuries.
